What's a Satoshi?

One Bitcoin is divisible into 100,000,000 tiny pieces called satoshis (or 'sats'). Named after Bitcoin's creator, a single sat is the smallest unit of Bitcoin — like a crumb from your BLT. At current prices, one satoshi is worth a fraction of a penny. But Bitcoiners think in sats because whole coins are getting expensive. 'Stacking sats' means buying small amounts regularly. Think of it as collecting crumbs until you have a whole sandwich.
